CHALLANGE
Using the pre-set illustration style, create a frame by
frame animation (duration 20 seconds, frame rate 30fps):
1. Pet taking shower, shaking its body consistently to dry
itself.
2. Soothing ocean waves seen from a distance and glowing
under the afternoon sky reflection.
3. Typography lockup for the animation title:
‘Pet-friendly staycations’
OUTCOME
The frame by frame animation uses anticipation followed by squish and squash and staging to enhance the dog’s appeal. Further, it shows exaggerated ears and fur to evoke happiness and cheer in its motion. Over 500+ frames were created to achieve a smooth and realistic movement.

Curly extended ascender depicts a pet’s tail, sharp curved terminals of letter ‘P’ and the shoulder of letter ‘r’ adds animal like anatomy
Clean sans-serif ‘staycations’ typeface well in contrast with the handwritten-script type retains the brand‘s true premium characteristics enhancing the value of its new proposition
Curved crossbars with bulb terminals further adds happy and child-like emotions to the visual
Bold typeface makes the text easily legible and brings the whole theme of the animation close together
